Edit your project overview
The overview is the page everything else is written from. A few minutes spent correcting it pays back in every post you make afterwards.
When you create a project, research reads your website and the web and writes an overview. It is plain text you can edit, and it is the context every generator reads first — so the writing is only ever as right as this page.
What each section is for
| Section | What it holds |
|---|---|
| What it is | The project in a few plain sentences. |
| Who it is for | The people you want to reach, in their own terms. |
| Problems and desires | What those people struggle with and want. |
| Offer | What you sell or give, and how it works. |
| Proof | Facts that back you up: results, customers, credentials — only real ones. |
| Voice and style | How you sound: words you use, words you avoid. |
| Positioning | What makes you different from the alternatives. |
| Competitors and alternatives | Who else people consider, read from public pages. |
| Where it shows up | Your channels and profiles. |
| Content angles | Themes worth posting about. |
| Open questions | What research could not confirm — including any figure it found no source for. |
Correct it
- Open BrandIn the project’s sidebar, open Brand and find the overview.
- Fix what is wrongChange any line. Delete a claim you would not make in public.
- Add proof you can stand behindReal numbers, named results, credentials. The writer may state facts that are in the overview, and removes figures nothing backs.
- Answer the open questionsMove what you can confirm into the right section and delete the rest.
Research again
If your website or offer changes, use Research again. It reads the site and the web afresh and writes a new overview; its cost is shown before it runs, and nothing is charged if it fails or you stop it. Your hand edits are replaced, so copy anything you want to keep first.
